I was going to move them as we played, but I'll always welcome help
lugging baskets! :-) We'll probably be out there around 12:50, give
or take 5 minutes. If you want to come out and play with a couple
of old duffers who haven't been playing much this winter, so are
playing as bad as rank beginners, we'd enjoy your company and to
see how the sport is REALLY played... :-) Otherwise, you could work
your way backward from 18, and we'll move baskets as we go from 1.

PS.  I'm also going to try to move as many of the baskets as I can
into the Festivus positions.  Most of them are already there, but I
think (regular hole #'s) 6, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17 and maybe 18
need to move.  Shit, that's half the course.  Oh well...

By "temp tee to 11 long placement" do you mean the new, deep in the

Festivus Update

Greg Johnson

Hi all,

Attached is the updated hole layout.  CTP's on 18 holes and long putts on two.  Scorecard updated on another tab.

Eric, I updated the hole distances but I'm not sure how long 18 to practice basket is.  I plugged in a number to round off the overall distance at 6500'.

Nate, One change from what I handed out at the club meeting.  In the interest speed of play and avoiding back log holes, I want normal hole 10, hole 9 for the tournament moved from the berm to the straight long position.

Discs are stamped and will ship this week.  I have paid registrations for half of the 88 spots, no on-line registration is slowing things down which is good for some.

So you going to be well enough to eat chicken or ribs.

Don't even THINK about playing, unless you start an IR division, which would probably be overrun with baggers.

Ah, life.

Thanks Jay and Toni, more likely we will get enough men's Pro GM to have a separate division.

There's a small (but significant) chance that I won't be able to be
there on Saturday the 25th, as our daughter's "due date" is the 24th.
But if that happens, I'll still get my pot of chowder to you, it
would just mean I wouldn't be there to run the cook shack. I'm
keeping my fingers crossed that the timing (and everything else) works
out for both events... :-)
