Fishing
Over the last couple of days, we've had two 'phishing' emails posted
to the group from members of the Yahoo group (purportedly) which contained nothing but a link to a virus laden, worm infected, trojan spreading web site. Fer cryin' out loud folks, learn what a suspicious email looks like, and think twice (and then think again) about clicking on a link that comes to you in an email, even if it comes from someone you know, unless you're 100% sure (and maybe not even then...) you know it's a safe, valid link to somewhere you REALLY want to go. Do NOT let curiousity get the best of you. Trust me. You'd much rather miss out on two or three funny cat videos than spend a couple of days wiping your hard disk and re-installing your OS and all your software, to get rid of some virus you caught from unprotected sex... er... surfing. Another date change for WDGC invitational
Hi all, I was reminded tonight that I will be in Portland Friday April 12th for a Blazers game which rules out hosting a tournament the next morning so I need to make it Sat April 7th. That means the event will come before the next club meeting. Yikes I need potluck food commitments! Work party Sat March 16th, Debris removal hole 3 pin/4 tee Basic stairs by #6 pin #11 down hill alley thinning/clearing #14/15 add stairs Distribute bark chips as needed Install teepad mats? I’ve been down with the flu for the last 5
days and have not really turned the corner in a convincing way yet.
So, I am not going to bring the virus to
the meeting, and entertain you with coughing my lungs out.
I am hoping that Everett or Greg will be
willing to lead the meeting, and I will delay leading a discussion on fine
tuning club priorities until next meeting.
