Presidents Cup 2014

Mike Storrs

This years Presidents cup is at North Albany Park (again). I tried a few other places but no layouts were presenting themselves so I went back to a tried and true temp course.

The day is Sun Dec 7th. The rest of the info will follow. Tell the masses.

Cool, Mckenzy and I will be in for this year.  I got Melanie to take care of Sierra for the day.

Hot Damn!
I am looking forward to the festivities!

And I am already planning my BYO Brunch - with eggs benedict, seafood
crepes, Champaign, and fancy coffee drinks !

This is a great pick-me-up Sunday morning announcement, after my
disappointment in the Civil War game - those damn Ducks just barely
slipped through our grasp. (or maybe it is only my memory though Beaver

Hey Mike,

How many baskets do I need to pull from the Blodgett course?  Not many will be easy, with all the down trees.  I will work on that today and get some help from Mckenzy.  At least none of them were hit by falling trees/tops from the freezing rain a couple of weeks ago.  I doubt I can get Dion's basket from Mindbender, but I have mine, yours, KC's, Hooper's and two of Richard Raymond's baskets.  We should have 13 metal baskets without resorting to any Ching/MachLite pop up style portables.

I will try to bring 2 or 3 to the club meeting, so there is less for me to try and fit in my truck next Sunday.

Mike,

I will bring you your basket to the club meeting tomorrow night.  Mckenzy pulled 6 baskets from the course (all but Dion's).  I have the other 5 loaded up in my truck fro next Sunday.  I have one of Richards with a number plate that I can put on hole 2.

I imagine you will want to have an ace pot for $ and should be able to boost it to $100 from the doubles ace pot.

I may be a little late to the meeting.

We (kids and I) worked on cleaning up the huge mess from the freezing rain damage on hole 1 of the Blodgett course.  It's closed for a while until other areas with multiple downed trees can be cleared.  Hole 18 is has also been cleaned up over the past week.  13-17 are still a mess. The rest of the course is in pretty good shape except larger fallen logs that still need to be cut up.

Thanks Greg. I will ask about baskets at the meeting. I will have an ace pot of course. Maybe we can boost it a bit with club funds.  I also need to ask Dave about a players pack for ams. In the past President cups I imagine we used club funds for the pack.

Mike

I don't know if it helps storrs but I'll be bringing you about $250 in doubles money on Sunday

Yes it does. We are throwing in extra money to make the ace pot a nice round $100. I can also use a bunch of ones for payout.
