It is that time of year. I need to update the voting members list and we need to poll our first vote of 2022. If you have not renewed club membership for 2022 and intend to do so, please let myself or Greg know as soon as convenient. Still only $10 a year or $15 for a household!
We'll give it a couple days before deleting 2021 members from the voting membership list, but we do need to initiate a vote before the next meeting.
Thank you to each of the 60+ members so far this year! We sincerely appreciate the support and look forward to bringing more exciting events to the area!
Also, the March meeting has been pushed back to March 14 because a couple people can't be there the week before. Sorry. We got outvoted.
Finally, there is a pop up PDGA C-tier scheduled for March 5 at Willamette! Registration opens tomorrow on Disc Golf Scene. This is the first of a series of fundraiser tournaments to raise money for a pro invitational cash tournament in June. Short notice, so a pure payout affair where we will pay out 85% and the rest will go into the tournament fund. We'll have a script vendor on site and cash for pros. The next couple tournaments are sponsored and will have player packs.
More info on the pro invitational and tournament series will be announced next week! The folks paying attention are seeing some pieces come together. The voting membership has already been let in on the "secret."
