Hello all, Some quick updates. Most importantly, welcome to our new members! I have gone through the voting members list and invited the new members to the groups.io email lists. Hopefully they receive the emails. If you know of someone that has not received or accepted the invitation to the list, please let them know to do so at their earliest convenience. Remind folks check their spam folder if they did not receive an email. Please have them reach out to me if they have question or trouble. We have a club member vote that will be sent out by the end of this week in order to have a result before the next meeting. A person's ticket to voting is their membership in the voting members list. Our next fundraiser for the big cash tournament is coming up in a couple weeks - another PDGA C-tier, this one presented by USUL. The player pack is a sweet custom ink polo shirt that is valued at more than the buy-in! Pics on Facebook and Disc Golf Scene. Come on out, get a nice shirt, have a good time, and support the cash tournament! March 19 (Sat), relatively small non-WDGC tournament at WillametteIt is time to start hyping that cash tournament. Tiered registration will soon open. I've attached a flyer made by Lonnie (thank you sir!). Feel free to distribute and post. Upcoming events (not an all-inclusive list) --- March 19 (Sat), we will hold league at Adair so Willamette is not overrun --- March 26 (Sat), leagues will be at Willamette March 26 (Sat), non-WDGC NADGT tournament at Adair March 27 (Sun), WDGC club tournament at Blodgett Woods. Greg has sent out the flyer. April 2 (Sat), fundraiser #2 presented by USUL at Adair April 3 (Sun), April Fools Dubs tournament at Willamette --- League will switch back to Tuesday evenings April 19th (after PDGA league session ends on April 16) April 30 (Sat), Fundraiser #3 Presented by Play It Again Sports June 7 (Tue), WDGC Pro Invitational cash tournament May 14 (Sat), non-WDGC dubs tournament at Willamette July 9 (Sat), President's Cup B-Tier tournament at Adair and Willamette Aug 13-14 (Sat-Sun), Willamette Open tournament at Adair and Willamette Aug 20 (Sat), Oregon Senior Games tournament at Adair (senior games registration opens tomorrow!) In case you missed it, Sunday dubs is back, too! About every Sunday. Facebook is the best place to get regular updates on schedule changes. Website On that subject, I know some folks do not prefer Facebook, but I am loath to send out email updates as often as we post on Facebook. Been debating if I need to commit to weekly updates, but again, I am hesitant to send unnecessary and unwanted emails because that is the fastest way to shrink the email list. I don't see a clear method to not needing to hassle to coordinate information, and see myself updating the updates when things flex as they tend to do. So, I would also like to reopen the conversation about a website that we can control. I have designed a relatively simple website, and even started coding it, but I don't have time for this. I have already committed myself arguably beyond sense. Domains are cheap and I can host the site for free. The only barrier is coding. No, I am not interested in a Wix site or some rubbish like that. Please reach out to me if someone may be willing to assist. Volunteers needed We need help at April Fools Dubs. Sounds as if Scott has created a monster and needs a lot more spotting help, for example, as well as some help with scoring between rounds. Exciting news!!
